So far so good, I guess. I mean, it pales in comparison to Planetary, but will do in the interim while I hunt down vol 3 (which seems to be out of stock everywhere).

Definitely no Planetary.

But nothing is.

I love those old Tintin albums - they were a pretty integral part of my childhood, as were the Asterix and Lucky Luke books. Tintin's an odd one for me, though, as I've never read them in English, only in the original French...

I've never read the French, but the English versions are very good.

I actually have a copy of Tintin And The Picaros in... Mandarin Chinese!

I bought my son the tintin trades like Punchy has and loves them. It got interested after seeing the movie which I guess some good came from it.

You speak French? I had no idea.

And I'm a huge Asterix fan. I wish I had the entire collection.

Just finished Black Hole by Charles Burns. Read it years ago and forgot most of it except the tail chick. Serious business. I couldn't put it down. I really like how he doesn't blatantly shove the murder mystery down your throat.

Also finished Wolverine and the X-men vol 2. The story was fun and I like that the series maintains a steady humor. Also, I need a plush Broo toy immediately.
