DC Universe Presents #17 Preview

Roy Harper is all too familiar with the road to hell being paved with good intentions, so he’s not totally surprised when an attempt to help Killer Croc leaves him running for his life on the streets of Japan.

An intelligent Killer Croc. That's nice for a change. Too bad DC keeps him in the mutated alligator form.

I think DC is turning him into their version of the Lizard or something.

They really don't need to do that. Croc was a pretty intimidating character when he was introduced. The more of a beast he got, the less interesting he got.

Plus it didn't help that he got jobbed by so many other characters as well like Bane, Shiva, Nightwing, Robin, Wolverine, etc. The only time when Croc wasn't portrayed as a dumb brute was in The Batman cartoon where he was this military experiment with the Cajun accent.
