in all fairness to Mattel and the MOTUC line... people will bitch and complain about EVERY freaking thing with that line. They bitched about Filmation characters being included in the line, now they are bitching about filmation characters getting a separate sub-line not a part of the normal sub line. Mattel can't do ANYTHING to please those fans. I think Castle Grayskull looks AMAZING, if i had the extra money i'd buy it in a heart beat.

It does look amazing. But I've long looked away from that line given how hard it was to find the figures I want the most without paying insane prices for them.

God DAMN. When is that Marvel Legends Archangel in X-Force uniform dropping? I know that was an SDCC exclusive with Wolverine and Psylocke in the past, but I'd love it if they made that available by itself.

Hasbro Returns to Jurassic Park

According to Variety, Universal has struck a new deal with the toy company to create new Jurassic Park merchandise.

Through this new licensing agreement, Hasbro will have the rights to develop action figures, plush dolls, playsets, vehicles, role play, games, KRE-O branded building sets and novelty items. The toymaker is eager to return to the property, especially now that the studio is releasing Jurassic Park in 3D this April, and Jurassic Park IV on June 13, 2014.

i thought he was supposed to be a variant or running change for Archangel.

in other news, i found the new Iron Man 6 inch figures. Ended up getting the Heroic Age Iron Man and the Classic Iron Man, though i wanted to buy Comics Iron Patriot, but didn't have enough money to get it.

Interesting...

ThreeA Toys To Do MARVEL

ThreeA Toys, best known for their in-house Ashley Wood-designed action figures from World War Robot and Popbot, announce that they will soon be taking on Marvel.

The 1:6th scale line will consist of classic Marvel characters re-imagined by artist Ashley Wood in the ThreeA style. Releases will start in 2013. Ashley Wood commented that "To get the chance to play with Marvel Comics awesome characters is kinda mind blowing".

been doing research, i don't think there is a variant. they made X-Force Archangel for a SDCC 3-pack this past summer. I don't think the next wave's Archangel has a variant.

So i've found all 3 of Iron Man Iron Monger wave figures. I think the Heroic Age armor is my favorite of the three, but the classic red/gold armor is awesome too, especially since it has two different helmets. Iron Monger itself is big (at least from the legs/body so far)

This alas. There is no variant for Archangel. You beat me too it in saying that. :P

How is the Monger so far articulation wise compared to other build a figures?

so far he seems equal, i haven't actually completed either of the two build a figures from the current legends out put, but he seems to have the exact same articulation as the marvel universe size Iron Monger figure that came out like 2 years ago.

i've seen a lot of bitching online about how Iron Patriot is just a repaint of the Extremis armor figure from the first wave of ML. That actually doesn't bother me, since in the comics it was pretty much just a re-painted version of that armor to begin with. I haven't had any time to do any comparisons between the two figures as i just got back home from being gone for like a month, but i'll look at them together tomorrow.

i do think its really awesome that before the year is out pretty much every member of the Original Dark Avengers will be made in legends form. Sure Marvel Boy will be in his Protector outfit, and there isn't a Bullseye as Hawkeye figure, and Moonstone will be in her thunderbolts look, but to think the entire roster can be represented is amazing
