Well, after months lost in Dimension Z, how else is Cap going to amuse himself if not with a handy vibrator?

In my humble opinion, his artwork was some of the best of the 80s. I still like it, however, he has let it become so stylized that I can understand why it's lost its mass appeal.

His spidey stuff with JMS was alright... everything else I've seen of his has been, at best, hard to look at.

But he's really popular, so maybe I just don't "get it"? :smt102

I'm with you. I don't get it at all...its awful to look at for me. :-/

JRJr is the worst artist of all time.

I think this storyline is Cap's punishment for being a sanctimonious douche during AvX.

Respect to the man for his work with Frank Miller and shit but I find the line work when inked is a lot more blocky and people look more square than anything. I also don't think Dean White's coloring meshes very well with his art either. Something about the combo of JRJR & Janson + White doesn't sit right with me.

Also, I'm starting to lean more towards Sakie's theory that this shit is happening all in Cap's head. Or it could be that time is out of joint. 11 years passed and Ian doesn't look like he's aged much but Jet Black is a teenage girl now. Shit is weird.

1) I say Klaus is what is saving the artwork more than anything
2) If it's all happening in Cap's head, why do we see events happen away from Cap (like the Zola & clack haired sister scenes).
3) I'm pretty sure I didn't order #5 (at least I hope I didn't because this story is beginning to match JRJR's art in quality (which is awful)).

I'm ready for this storyline to be over already. :?

As far as JRJR goes, I used to be a big fan back in the day (Uncanny X-Men), but I think his art has deterioated.

Zola has the ability to manipulate his surroundings. If you've read the Kirby Cap run, Zola at one point manipulates the castle with mind control. He could be manipulating both Dimension Z and Cap's memories. Remember, he's in Cap's head/body.

I trust the writer to pull it off.

Zola's surprise that Cap is still alive kind of negates this I'd think.

Janson, in the past, has done an incredible job on JRJR's art. But not lately. Their last good collaboration was New Ways to Die.

JRJR is a strong storyteller, who can create some dynamic poses and equally dynamic sequences. But he has always needed a great inker to clean up his pencils. Tom Palmer, for example, has done a phenomenal job on JRJR's Kick-Ass work.

I wish that Palmer, possibly the best inker of all time, would work exclusively with JRJR.

Thanks for the "possibly". Because we all know the likes of Joe Sinnot, Dan Adkins, Wally Wood, Jerry Ordway, Murphy Anderson, Dan Green & Dick Ayers would have something to say about this if you didn't.
