Grayson wrote:Alright, if CM Punk really does end up fighting the Undertaker at Wrestlemania then he really needs to win and I really, REALLY hope that he does. What does it say about the current generation of wrestlers if the best in the world can't even beat 2 guys who haven't wrestled regularly in years? Plus, can you imagine the tension in the backstage scenes the following night on Raw? John Cena winning the WWE Championship would be an after thought compared to the shock and awe the rest of the guys would be feeling over the final defeat of the Undertaker!

In fact, I would love to see CM Punk interrupt John Cena's victory speech just to stroll to the ring, point to the belt, and proclaim himself number 1 contender.

I actually don’t mind in this instance. The streak shouldn’t be broken and Punk was genuinely screwed over with the Rock.

Yes there is. Punk vs. Taker done cold does nothing to move any storylines any further.

Something like a Punk/Lesnar vs Undertaker/HHH might have, where you could set up a Punk/Lesnar feud by using it to show who's side Paul E and The Shield are really on.

On the other side. Having Vince have to call in Taker to deal with Leanar, and being forced to give Taker the right to name his opponent for WM XXX in exchange for his participation.

So Punk can't beat Rock or Cena. Therefore, he goes after The Undertaker.
Yeah, whole lotta logic there.

Seems perfectly logical to me. He's a bad guy puffing his chest trying to steal the spotligh from the good guys. :smt102

And he can beat Cena, it's just he lost their last encounter. :smt102

Raw was pretty awesome, Punk and Cena bring out the best in eachother, Triple H is still kinda cool, and the Team Hell No match with the blindfold and arm stipulations was hilarious.

Didn't really like seeing Sheamus and Orton trick The Shield though, and Sheamus is being such a dick to Wade Barrett, for no real reason at all.

:-D

I turned on him when they did that. But he was a good guy and he was too smarmy.

Nacireman doesn't seem to realise that Punk, as much as fans love him, is a bad guy at the moment.

Also, Ryback Vs Ziggler was a great match as well, a great little guy/big guy battle.
