Like I said, we all know why.
Aren't there only two issues out so far? I like it, but I think we'll have a fuller understanding in another issue or two. I hope more people seek it out. |

I've read most of it and the Remender stuff is the best of the bunch. Really hated the Spencer run (the .1 issue especially). |

So you think it's off to a good start? |

So far so good. I'm only familiar with Eric Stephenson the editor at Image guy, but I think he has great editorial instincts and gives good interview so I'm curious to see what he can do as a writer. I wish issue 3 were out, the end of issue two is one of those classic it-all-goes-ka-boom! cliffhangers. |

Smell. Due to financial reasons, I must hold off on Godland. |

I looked through the 3 issues that are out so far and that art is great! |

Indeed. Or should I say IndeeDio? |

They're all excellent, although I don't think Incognito is quite as good as the other two. For me, the Last of the Innocent story of Criminal (which uses archtypes from the Archie books) is easily one of the ten best comics I've ever read. It really comes down to personal preference. If you enjoy hard boiled crime like Scalped and the Parker books, go for Criminal. If you'd prefer a sci-fi bent, go for Sleeper. But you can't go wrong either way. |

Honestly, Fatale is the weakest of all the Brubaker/Philips projects. Sleeper is done so it might be a good one to start with Incognito's story might not be done with or might not Criminal is, IMO, the best of the bunch and with one exception doesn't have to be read in order. |

GØDLAND is one of my favorite series ever. The art is really well done if you like old-school kirby influenced stuff. And the dialog is great. Very old-school cosmic comic stuff, but with better dialog and less clunky narration. It gets really weird, and a touch meandering toward the end, but I think that might have a lot to do with the HUGE gaps between when issues were published. It's been going on for years, and there's only 36 issues. And the first 12 or so were monthly. So yeah, from the late 20s or so it's been maybe 3 issues a year... something like that. Regardless, Basil Cronus is one of my favorite villains ever. |
