Marvel NOW! survey

Postby Keb » Fri Mar 01, 2013 12:47 pm

Hey everyone, I'm collecting data for a front page article on the Marvel NOW! event. Since we're five months in and there are only a few books left to come out, I figure I'd kick this off with a survey. Kinda like what nieto did back in December/January with the 2012 top ten list.

(If you are planning to pick something up that hasn't been released, treat it like you are already buying it)

So here goes:

What Marvel NOW! books have you begin picking up since the launch of the event?

What Marvel books that came under the NOW! banner were you currently reading before the event launch?

Were there any books you were planning to drop before the event?

Were there any book you've dropped since the event launch?

If you have any questions, leave them in the thread or PM me. Also, feel free to leave issue numbers or explanations as to why (I may quote you on those) if you want. No biggie if you don't.

List of Marvel NOW titles (included for this survey):
    Uncanny Avengers
    A+X
    All-New X-Men
    Captain America
    Deadpool
    Fantastic Four
    FF
    Indestructible Hulk
    Iron Man
    Thor: God of Thunder
    X-Men Legacy
    Avengers
    New Avengers
    Avengers Arena
    Cable and X-Force
    Thunderbolts
    Morbius
    Savage Wolverine
    Superior Spider-Man
    Uncanny X-Force
    Young Avengers
    Fearless Defenders
    Guardians of the Galaxy
    Nova
    Secret Avengers
    Uncanny X-Men
    Wolverine
    X-Men
    Avengers Assemble
    Daredevil
    Journey into Mystery
    Red She-Hulk
    Wolvering a/t X-Men
    Hawkeye
    Winter Soldier
    Thanos Rising
    Age of Ultron
    Captain Marvel

Thanks for your time!
Keb

I guess I should have specified if the book was picked up during the launch or after. I've changed #1 to: "What Marvel NOW! books have you begin picking up since the launch of the event?"

Basically, the last few months have seen me go from being a DC guy to being a Marvel one. And I don't regret it one bit: the books are just better.

I give you guys (and gals?) credit. Last brand new series I got was Avengers vs X-Men. Got that digitally. I mainly stick to trades these days - mostly Marvel, mind you, as I was a DC for just about ever and I missed a lot of Marvel in the last 30 years or so.
Some of this Marvel stuff looks good, but I'll trade wait. I've been burned far too many times with series that don't pay off, and I demand value for money - and $4 for a 10 minute read ain't doing it for me.

I think it does. I've noticed that the latest issues have been coming out with the Marvel NOW branding on the bottom. Same with Hawkeye.

I'll count it for now.

Daredevil also counts.
