Best guy food I've tried

Postby ~Alima~ » Fri Mar 01, 2013 9:47 pm

I guess it's guy food because everyone kept saying it was, but now I'm confused because I liked it. Anyways it was a gutted jalapeno, stuffed with crumbled maple sausage, mixed with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon, and then oven baked. It was so right on so many levels. The salty with the sweet and that kick of heat was absolute heaven in my mouth. And yes, I really am talking about food.
I need more recipes like this please.

I'd suggest watching Parks and Recreation. Ron Swanson may have some awesome food ideas for you.

When it comes to guy food I usually equate it as being anything vegans and vegetarians would not approve of. Yep I'm calling vegetarians and vegans sissies.

I regret nothinggggggggggggggggg!

Sounds good. I had Shrimp stuffed with jalapeño and cheese then wrapped in bacon and tempura fried....it was delicious and very kosher.

Why would I need to post that here? Redundancy is frowned upon.

Use whatever fries you like. If you want to make them home-made, then that's fine. I use frozen fries.

Cook 3-5 strips of bacon in the oven til its crispy.

Crumble up some marble cheddar or old cheddar instead of using mozzarella curds.

Sautee up some onions and mushrooms in the bacon fat from the oven (or oil if you want)

Gravy for poutine I make using chicken soup stock with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, basil and black pepper. Use corn starch to thicken.

Put the fries on a shallow bowl or place where the gravy won't drip off, put the mushrooms and onions. Cut the bacon into small pieces using scissors and spread all over. Add cheese. Then pour gravy on top.

If you eat it every day for a month you WILL have health issues.
