So there's a rumor going around Transformers forums that a beastly figure that'll hit this year will be a Beast Wars Megatron figure. The only thing I have to say about that is the obvious response.

The new James Roberts series..More Than Meets the Eye. He also did a mini called "Last Stand of the Wreckers" that was really good.

"Robots in Disguise" is merely ok to me...it's readable but nothing groundbreaking.

Personally I'm not feeling Regeneration One. Too retro.

Pretty much all of this.

MTMTE is probably my favorite Transformers series. It's been a while since I've laughed out loud while reading a comic and then started reading whole pages of it to my wife but this comic has got me doing that monthly. It's pretty awesome and it even makes me care about random characters that no one has really fleshed out.

RiD is growing on me. With the premise, you'd think it'd be a lot better than it is and it IS better than All Hail and the previous ongoing... but it's the little baby brother when compared to MTMTE. Both annuals were stellar, though.

Regeneration One is... well, it's Furman's chance to tell some stories again. Unfortunately, it's not as good as his previous IDW work or his original Marvel work.

The second run of Quakewave (aka Third Party's attempt at a Masterpiece Shockwave) has sold out. A third run is currently being tested. I am so glad I got paid earlier this week to secure my order.

And Beware the Batman. Though DC should hire him and kick out Geoff Johns for JL. Then again they probably screw up and his run would be like Dwayne McDuffie's.

Having recently watched the last episode of Prime:

[Reveal] Spoiler: Click to Expand
The storyline once again moves along too fast for me to really care. Four episodes into the new season and the cliffhangers from last season are already resolved, plus the Predacon is apparently out of the picture. I love the characters in this show, and the nods to prior continuity, but the stories seem to move way too fast with little in the way of lasting consequence.

I haven't been picking up RID and MTMTE, but I have read the first trade of each and keep up with the storylines. With respect to RID #16:

Damn Starscream, just when I thought you'd changed...
