Is that who we thought it would be? I can't remember what he looked like in season one anymore.

Did they forget to air an episode? I am confused and lost. How and why did they go back to where it started?

I don't know. Did they only get a half a mile away the whole time? This episode is all kinds of awful.

I could not tell what they picked up there at the end. Anyone?

I actually really enjoyed the episode, especially with that conversation between michonne and Rick.

Are they building up a romance there? :smt102

Rick's been crazy and destructive as well, pretending he's 'seeing things' like it's special instead of fucking nuts is some dumb-ass TV crap cliche right there. Probably a fucking trope for it and everything.

It was the backpackers backpack (the dude running up the road screaming "Hey, help me!").

It's a good plan. Don't help someone, that someone gets killed because you don't help them, and then you help yourself to their stuff.

Totally a filler episode that next week will be summed up with "we found some guns".

Oooooh. Thanks, I just couldn't tell what I was looking at there. Poor backpack dude.

Worst episode of the show, bar none. It makes no sense that they went back home. That has to be a hell of a long drive and the prison would have been raped and murdered while they were gone. If it was close by, then why the fuck didn't Rick know about the prison?

I was also really taken aback by the whole Carl asked to come bullshit while it was clearly stated last episode that Rick was bringing Carl cause he was ready and there didn't appear to be a conversation about heading home.

I was so confused by the beginning of the episode and trying to figure out if I missed something that I missed all this great writing that Doomy and the folks on Talking Dead were gushing over. I like my stories to make sense and follow logically, the whole damn apartment thought it must be a hallucination for most of the episode.

Rick should have just killed crazy dude. Talking to Carl behind the car where Michone could clearly hear was fucking stupid, especially if this was some sort of vetting for her. And Carl is a wreckless fucking kid and I would have torn up his ass over the picture stunt.

I actually loved this episode. I found it beautiful in a gory kind of way. The interactions with everyone showed a lot of growth in the characters, and I'm finally glad they itched my scratch from the beginning episodes. Poor Duane.

Bungled plot details and questionable geography aside, this was the best episode of thus far of this half-season thus far. It's too much to hope that we never deal with the Governor sturm und drang anymore, but a part of me can hold out hope.

This was a big 10 for me. :smt102

Lennie James killed it. Michonne showed emotion. And Carl was a little badass.

Also, I don't particularly care about the geography issues. Not worth thinking about.

They drove for a long time and left the prison without Rick and Michonne (and Carl).. simple as that.

But if they have no ammo and a shortage of guns, then they'd have been pretty much useless anyway if the Governor attacked again. The needs outweighed the risks.

With a car.

To get guns.

Because that's the only place Rick knew for sure had lots of guns and lots of ammo.

Which they need, because they're facing a fucking platoon of armed paramilitary soldiers led by the Governor, and all they had was a couple guns, and a couple rifles, and no ammo.
