So far this has been an amazing series and overall I have to say that I really enjoyed this issue, However, I'm not sure that I completely buy Clint's actions this issue. Sure, In his younger days he would have gone along with some woman like his new red headed love companion (he went along with the early bad girl Black Widow), but there has been a lot of character development thrown into him since then. To me it no longer comes across as something he'd do.
That said, I still love this series. The fake old style comic covers were a great little touch this issue, as was the purple "H" on the brown of Clint's tuque. The ending was also great. I'm really interested in seeing where all of that goes from here.

Thank you Troy for the sig

I read this the other day. I think men of any age or experience are likely to be suckers for a pretty girl. Wars have been started over less.

dude, Clint was hooking up with Moonstone just a year or two ago (that's in my best guesstimation of approximate Marvel-time, not real-world time). Moonstone!

Nothing, she's still his girlfriend, but Marvel never lets continuity get in the way of telling a story.

A fair enough point Chap, but I still disagree when it comes to thsi case. This was him being lead by his dick into robbery and assault -- fairly serious crimes. His relationship with Moonstone never had him going that far.

True, I'm still annoyed that his renewed relationship with Mockingbird just suddenly disappeared. Although it was really nice to see her again briefly this issue.

I'm not sure what the point was in her coming back if they were gonna drop the Clint relationship. She's kind of been useless otherwise.

Wasn't Nicieza playing at pushing Moonstone into a genuine reform, though? It wasn't really until Ellis got his hands on her that she was back to being a manipulative, evil, uncaring bitch, right?

no matter how much you reform Moonie, she's still a bitch. very similar to Emma (although more fun IMMO).

Jim McCann said it was always in the cards to bring Spider-woman in and have Bobbi and Clint separate again.

How was Jim McCann's series? Fraction's Hawkeye has made me quite interested.
