Heavy is the head that wears the crown.
Source: Joe Quesada To Draw Age Of Ultron’s Top Top Secret Finale Marvel CCO, Joe Quesada, has finally realized what the rest of the online comic book community has known for years; you can’t trust anybody. BleedingCool reports that Joe Q, is so fed up with leaks, rumors, and spoilers spilling out of the Marvel offices that he decided that he was the only person trust-worthy enough to draw the last few pages of Age Of Ultron #10 and not tell everyone how the event ends before the next issue of Previews ruins it for everyone.
That is not to say that BleedingCool’s Rich Johnston won’t be able to procure the information early by dressing up as Quesada’s office fern, but considering how timely Quesada is with his art, “early” is a relative term.
So, what do you think: does replacing part of the creative team for the last 5 pages count as a fill-in? Is it kind of a rip-off that Pacheco and Hitch do all the heavy lifting only to have Quesada take the ball over the goal line like a comic creator version of Jerome “The Bus” Bettis? How far will the addition of Quesada to the creative team push Age of Ultron #10 back? At what point do we start calling Age of Ultron “House Of Flashpoint?” Is this such a slow news day that I was able to stretch this into three paragraphs?
