SPOILERS inside!

Source: Newsarama

Following the huge moment in this week's Batman Incorporated #8,  Peter Tomasi teases what's happening in his title, Batman And Robin, in an interview with Newsarama's Vaneta Rogers:

Batman And Robin #18 will be an all-silent issue portraying Batman's grief.

Then as Batman experiences the five stages of grief, each successvive issue will feature a title change as Batman teams with another member of the Bat-Family. For example:

Issue #19 will be Batman and Red Robin.

Issue #20 will be Batman And Red Hood.

According to Tomasi, visual clues concerning Damian have been planted for quite a while now:

In issue #1 Damian is lying in bed, seemingly dead, lying in a coffin and Bruce was going to wake him up. Also, the sewer scene and the paper boat along with the biggest touchstone being the pearls, and how Damian would search for one to give to Bruce a year down the line.

In issue #8, the last page as Damian runs off, he is positioned between the headstones of Bruce's parents, a visual cue that soon he will be resting with them.

Tomasi suggests that readers go back and look every previous issue to find additional hidden clues.

Below are the covers to issues #19 and #20. Read the full interview with Peter Tomasi here.

Nice to see that Tomasi was actually in on the Damian situation from the start of B&R.

So, the title becomes a revolving door cast to deal with the five stages of grief.

Didn't we read that book already, when Captain America died? :)

Puzzling to me? After losing a couple of kids to violently tragic ends, does Bruce go for yet another (Sixth!!!) episode of child endangerment?
