I don't think anyone else in the stadium thought it was a red, Mourinho didn't seem to and apparently neither did the fourth official. First half was great but that just killed the match and United have every reason to be gutted about it.

I was watching the Club World Cup match against the Corinthians and that was also a shocking red card.

The other three were pretty justifiable though.

I don't think it was Red myself, but then we in the UK have different standards of what amount of roughness is permissible than the rest of Europe it seems.

It did look like the fix was in though, just like when RVP was ludicrously sent off for Arsenal against Barcelona for not hearing the offside whistle 2 seasons back.

Spurs just dominated Inter 3-0. Granted Milito is out for the season but still....

I'm impressed with what AVB has done with them.

Fucking Spurs.

It pisses me off that they're good.

Bring back Justin Edinburgh and Christian Gross!

Yeah, he's really made the media look like fools.

But did you hear on commentary last night when either Townsend or Tyldesley said 'He's figured out this management lark' or something like that.

He won the Europa League 2 years ago! The very competition you're commentating on! He won the Portugese League unbeaten! He won the Portugese Cup!

Being shit at Chelsea is not his whole career, and really, that was not his fault.

Downing did a Q&A on Twitter. These are some of the questions he got

@DualeAdam1 If you were a footballer, what would your preferred position be?

@Liam Payne ?Payny_01 How did you feel last season knowing Tim Howard was closer to lifting the golden boot than you?

@BillHansen28 So you left Aston Villa for Champions League football. How's that working out for you?

?@McFarlaneJordan A re you the only professional footballer to be neither footed?

@Notcarlcole On a scale of 1 to Jesus, how good are your crosses?

@Dave B MUFC ?Bowsy_How did it feel to have more arrests than assists last season?

@arpan_manutd Do you know any footballer (except you) who is neither footed?

@Jon Barbuti Which Premier League bench is the comfiest?

@Fergie's Hairdryer How do you get to the other side of the road when you don't know how to cross?

I just saw the highlights of yesterday's Crystal Palace/Leeds Utd. game. It looked like it was a really good game and I'm glad that Palace was able to come back to get the 2 - 2 tie -- sorry Punchy.

Glen Murray though -- 30 goals this season. What the year he's having. :)

Thank you Troy for the sig

They were good for the first 10 minutes, Hernandez's goal was amazing, what a pass from Carrick.

But Eden Hazard's goal was even better.

I think only Messi has scored more goals than Glenn Murray this season.
