No, you don't.
And there lies part of your problem.
DC should cut all you Bronies loose
So you ASSUME that I'm a Brony because of the avatar.
(And what happens when we ASSUME??)
Actually, it's left over from the "Pony Day" we had some time back (as is Jude's avatar). The show is good, but I'm not "Brony-level" into it. I'm more of a fan of the character this pony is dressed as; that character is my usual avatar.
and just stop trying to live in the past for your benefit. Kids today don't know or care about the nostalgic sentimentalities form the SIlver Age
Another ASSUMption! Tsk, tsk!
I'm not a Silver Age fanboy, either.
For example, and to get right to the point: MY Flash is Wally West.
Always has been, always will be.
so this all ages approach isn't for them
If they expect to keep this industry going, they have to attract new blood.
And that means people of ALL ages, especially kids.
it's for old men like you who can't let go of their childhood.
The Triple Crown of ASSUMption!!
(What a good Pony you are! Yes, you are!
Who said I got into these comics at a young age??
Personally I don't suffer from Peter Pan Syndrome myself, so I'm happy with change.
Only an idiot ASSUMEs all change must be good.
If DC just stopped trying to placate guys like you they could just move on and stop trying to dilute their properties in order to make everyone happy at the same time.
Again: Given their stubborn inflexibility on allowing certain characters to reappear, not to mention going with this crappy DCnU in general, they're not really trying to make everyone happy.
So you can cast off a few more of your ASSUMptions, my little Pony!
