I really dug Lock Down. Bully is one of those heels that can get fans into an angry frenzy.

First one I think is aroung 1988.

As for the second, Brusier Brody was murdered in 1988, do at least one of those no later than that. I'm thinking 1986.

It feels good to say that about TNA. I think TNA can be very patchy. It can have stretches of being great and stretches of being horrible and also inbetween,

But right now a story seems to have come together and I love it. Bully has worked his ass off.

i was thinking back to the wedding ep where taz interrupted it and said "i'm your friend and i have to know..are you sure you want to do this?".

now the way i see it is like he was asking if he wants to go through with getting hammered with the podium in order to sell the lie or not.

if that is the case then TNA's writers did some great work in planting little continuity seeds like that.

i actually doubted you thinking that the feud with A&E was too great and Bully would be his own heel. I did have second thoughts from last week however.

You nailed it though.

I was just spitballing really, but I'm glad they went through with it, much better than it being Eric Bischoff or Jeff Jarrett.

Yeah the year sounds right I think this was just before WCCW started doing shows with USWA, taker debut in WWE in 1991, being in WCW before that

Lockdown was a really good PPV, and it went a long way towards redeeming the Aces & Eights storyline, Bully Ray being their leader was a great twist, and I can't wait to see where this goes now. It was also great how pissed off it made the fans, shades of Hogan being revealed as the nWo's third man.

I also really liked the X-Division and Tag Team titles matches, there were some truly holy shit moments in those matches, the tag-match made me a fan of Hernandez when I had previously disliked him, and it was great to see Bobby Roode back. Having fat old RVD out of the X-Division made for a much better match, now we just need the division to be more than just 4 people, get Robbie E and Joey Ryan and one of Aces & Eights in there!

I suppose the Lethal Lockdown match had 2 great highlights too, with Samoa Joe suplexing 5 guys at once and then Young's elbow, but I wasn't feeling that one as much overall. Awesome that EY got the pin, after Sting screwed him over on Impact last week.

Oh, and the Knockouts title match was good too, the storyline between Gail Kim and the referee has been very well done, I expect Terrell will stop being a referee now and become a wrestler. She could be the female Brad Maddox!

the interference caused more mistrust among the TNA people, so yea, that makes sense to me

Brad Maddox was on commentary and it was amazing and hilarious. I barely remember any of the Ryback/Sandow match because the commentary was so good. Get Maddox on Raw instead of Jerry Lawler!

Speaking of Ryback, they are teasing a Wrestlemania match between him and Mark Henry, which could be glorious destruction.

Much to my delight they are continuing to develop the Kaitlyn/Cody Rhodes romance, and the back-stage segment with Cody and Damien discussing her was great.

Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez's parody of Swagger and Zeb was pretty funny, I especially liked Ricardo trying to eat his own stomach.

ADR's match with Ziggler was only OK, they had to go through a lot of shenanigans with AJ, Big E and Ricardo on the outside, which, whilst enjoyable, meant the match took 5 minutes to get going. I suppose it was necessary to explain why Dolph doesn't cash in.

The back-stage segment between AJ and Daniel Bryan was very interesting, both because it actually used continuity, and also for what it promises for the future. Could Daniel Bryan be Dolph's first feud when he becomes Champ?

Team Hell No beat 3MB in a fun match, it was interesting to see commentary actually sort of big up 3MB, mentioning their past title reigns, rather than treat them like a joke.

Fan... Dan... Go... is still funny to me, but I don't know how much longer he can go by not wrestling.

The Big Show/Sheamus thing was decent, a bit repetitive of last week with The Shield running in, but before that, it was a very good match. I do like how they are positioning Big Show here, he's fighting The Shield, but he's still a heel and he still hates Sheamus and Orton. This should make for an intriguing match at Wrestlemania where the WWE team can't trust each other.

I thought it was pretty bleh until Maddox got on commentary. He really saved the day!

I laughed at Sandow’s assessment of Kaitlyn.

AJ backstage was pretty good, I'd forgotten how much I liked her.
