Sorry if I'm I was out of the loop on this, but I'm sorry to report that Dragavon has passed away. I got the following message from his Mom this morning through his facebook page.
Hello Brian - this is Dragavon's mom. I believe you know that he passed away in October. I was wondering if there was a way I could save the recordings of the podcasts that you did together every Sunday night. It really helps for me to be able to hear his voice...please advise. Thanks
This was my reply
I'm sorry. I didn't know. I had to stop doing the podcast due to health issues and let my cohost take over the show back Around September.
The direct link to the sight were we record and save the shows is http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/ta ... 036&cmd=tc
To download the MP3 files, right click on the download button to the right of each episode. Click "save as" or "save file as" depending on the browser you use. Once you save the file, you should be able to play them on any computer, mp3 player or IPod.
The shows are also available on ITunes. Just search for "bludcast radio" and the show page should come up in the search.
Each episode we start the show by introducing all the cohost for the evening, after a brief intro. I would work backwards from the last show he did to save the show. I can't remember what episode he joined the cast, but he did at least 90 episodes.
Just a bit of warning. Though we toned it down for the more resent shows and tried to be a bit more family friendly, the earlier episodes have quite a bit of cursing.
I'm sorry for your loss. Dragovon was a great addition to the show. We all shared the love of comic books, but it was our various backgrounds and cultural perspectives that made the show stand out. It fueled discussions that we would cut short only because people had to be up for work the next morning and there was only so much room on the fan's MP3 players. Some nights we would still go on talking for hours after we stopped recording. We didn't just do the show to be entertainment news commentators. We did the show to be able to talk about the things we loved with our friends. I am proud to have counted your son among them.
