BlueMole had to return his first model as possibly defective, so we immediately exchanged it for a new one.

Oh I was commenting on the Narc comparison. It was not kind.

But for the second time I tried to try digital comics and the mechanisms failed to even allow me to complete the transactions.

Not much to inspire any confidence in a format I don't like to begin with!

I'm not a fan of digital stuff either. I want it to be on paper!

It is, I just bought it and read it. It's quite good so far (worth the 2.50 I paid for it), I'm definitely in for issue two.

Also, in the afterword BKV predicts that the site will crash right after they launch it because they're both technophobes and that Martin's friend Jose will be stepping in to fix it. Good job Jose.

So what's the best way to download this to read on an Android tablet? I've only ever read digital comics through Comixology.

I have no idea how much to pay for it. I've never bought digital comics before.

Which, if you've ever read the back-matter in BKV's books you already know.

(He's like nacireman that way.)

If you wanted to base it off current market prices, most digital comics are in the $1 to $3 range. I've felt that 1.25 or 1.50 is the "right" price for the average digital comic for a while. These two guys are well above average and it's the first day of a cool independent business venture for them that I'd like to go well, so I paid $2.50. I think they're being honest and earnest when they say pay what you want. Pay whatever a digital copy of a comic by Brian K Vaughn and Marcos Martin is worth to you.

Just read it, it's a really good story, regardless of format. I'm excited to see where all this leads.

Well that's fairly disappointing. I'll still buy it because of BKV but now I'm just not in any rush to do so.
