Marvel Offices Return To Week Long Nap

And, man, do they need it.

Source: I'm tired

Marvel took a quick break this morning from their week long nap to announce that Neil Gaiman would be returning to the House of Ideas to co-write Age Of Ultron #10 and Guardians of the Galaxy, along with bringing the old Image character, Angela, with him. Marvel remained semi conscious throughout the morning answering questions and insulting John Bryne, but when 12:00 PM EST rolled around the entire office building grabbed their security blankets and binkies and went back to sleep.

The Outhouse, the most respectful of all the websites, caught up with Joe Quesada as he was saying “good night” to his stuffed Golden Age Green Lantern doll:

Outhouse: Joe, how can you sleep for a whole week? What about DC? What if something happens you need to react to?

Joe Quesada: HA! HA! HA! Oh, I’m sorry (wiping tears from his eyes), but ‘what about DC?’ What about them? The worst thing we could do is draw attention to ourselves. All we need to do is sit back on our pile of raped childhoods and watch the Distinguished Competition embarrass itself to death in a series of increasingly more hilarious public snafus. Eventually, we’ll jump in and buy Superman, The Flash, Batman, and Captain Marvel (he has our name!). Until then – fuck it, I’m tired.

OH: When you do, will you release a comic featuring toxic character Stephanie Brown?

JoeQ: This interview is over.

OH: Good night Joe Q.

JoeQ: Good night, Outhouse.

OH: Good night, Moon.
