I would be interested in seeing the ratings break down for the adolescent demographic on both shows. I know that kids liked both of these shows but I don't know why they didn't buy the merchandise outside of the possibility that the merchandise just wasn't that good.

You could have said the same thing about Animesque Teen Titans, and yet, here they come again!

I mean, you could certainly view it that was if you wanted to. The way I see it, we're not talking about shows that were cancelled due to low ratings or unfavorable reviews. We're talking about shows that were cancelled because their merchandise didn't sell. If Warner Bros. is open to discussing bringing the shows back because of the amount of support from the fans, then I don't see how that's a bad thing.

For me, if they are not interested enough in funding their own properties, it should just not be revived. That's just me though. I never invested much in either cartoon.

Or Futurama. Or Family Guy.

Same reason that He-Man & Thundercats were cancelled, I believe.

As opposed to Spectacular Spider-Man (and presumably Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes), which was cancelled because Disney/Marvel wanted to put out an inferior cartoon that they own completely.

Or Wolverine & The X-Men, which was well received but cancelled when Disney bought Marvel... and they never replaced it.

I dunno, maybe I'm just being a jerk.

How could anyone ever think of you being a jerk?

DC should just do it themselves since Mattel love to do cheap ass figures for double the price they should be.
