Hawkeye has lots of instances in his history where he was willing to kill people. From trying to kill Osborne to killing dozens of men in Age of Ultron #1. I don't understand where you get the idea of pacifist Hawkeye from as I haven't ever seen him portrayed that way in the comic.

This.

From now on if Bendis turns in a script that even so much as mentions Hawkeye in a passing reference, the script should immediately be rolled up and used to smack Bendis on the nose, before being thrown in the trash.

Bendis wrote a great Hawkeye as recently as Uncanny X-Men #3

Murderous Hawkeye has pretty much been an invention of Bendis.

Once upon a time, he got pissed because his wife let her rapist (Phantom Rider) die.

Once upon a time Batman used guns and Superman couldn't fly.

He even talked Mach 2 into going to jail for a murder done years earlier - because it was the right thing to do.

And anyone who's ever read Avengers #230 would find out how much Hawkeye refuses to use undue force (and about the strength of his friendship with Hank Pym).

So far, I've heard that Black Panther breaks his neck by tripping on some stairs, got "Gwen Stacy'ed" and/or "didn't land on his feet". What ACTUALLY happened, and is it more hilarious or sad? Descriptions I've heard could go either way.

Leaving aside the fact that Hawkeye being OK with killing has been established for a few years now, surely the fact that this is a post-apocalyptic dystopia should make it acceptable for him to pro-killing?

If you lived in a world that had been decimated by evil robots, it might change your outlook on where to draw the line.

He was running away from a swarm of Ultron drones when he actually tripped. fell down a flight of stairs, landed on the side of his head, and broke his neck on impact.

Cap used to be anti-killing too. Then Brubaker came along. Showed him killing a bunch of Nazis in the past and Letting an terrorist or two fall to their deaths in his first Cap issue.

Pretty much but add in a side of Taskmaster carrying an Ultron head like a footbal just to be on the safe side.

Oh and lets not forget that the world has to be ending because Steve Rogers and Tony Stark actually agree on something.

After 3 issues, I feel like they need another 3 issues with twice as many splash pages/large panels/double page spreads than they've already used to depict that the world as being bleak before I can fully grasp that the world is bleak.
