I don't fault Marvel for wanting to make money. The problem is that, as an Avengers fan, I want to follow that team as thoroughly as I can while at the same time getting other stuff that looks interesting as well. When there are too many Avengers titles being published, my budget starts getting stretched, and those two things start coming into conflict. At that point I have to start making tough decisions and I don't like being put into that situation. Right now I'm there and I'm not happy about it.

Out of curiosity, how many of those titles are "must haves"?

Maybe Ant-Man can join. Ragnarok has a new book to join now.

This is the main reason why I've avoided most things X related for years.

then follow the ones that feel the most like Avengers to you or contain the characters you like. I just don't get the whole "getting upset" because Marvel is publishing something different. No one is forcing you to buy the books, the only two Avengers books right now that are even telling remotely the same story is Avengers and New Avengers. Marvel believes there's a space in their catalogue for this book, so why not publish it. And it coming out of Age of Ultron it makes sense in a way to have a book with the robotic characters.

Probably that absolute must haves would be New Avengers and Avengers. If I were to lose my job tomorrow, I'd still find some way to at least get those two titles.

I never claimed that I was being forced to buy these titles. It's a matter of preference. I'd prefer to be able to get all Avengers related titles while having enough room in my budget to buy a number of other things I want to check out. I don't want to have to be in a position in which I have to choose an Avengers title or another title I'd like, but not both. A few months ago this wasn't a problem for me and now it is and it's because Marvel is expanding the number of Avengers titles. I'd prefer to be in the situation I was in a few months ago budget wise -- that's all I'm saying.

Yeah, that's weird. That would be a good book, have Machine Man join as well.

Metal Avengers

Vision
Jocasta
Machine Man
Doombot-Should be interesting.
Ant-Man (LMD)
Human Torch (original)
Awesome Android
Hank Pym
Plus those other 3

Jocasta isn't really on that good of terms with Hank Pym though, so that makes sense... and Jim Hammond is kind of not in the right mindset after Remender's final Secret Avengers arc to really join a team.

They could also use the Deathlok introduced in Remander's UXF. For that matter, they could also use the other robotic characters Remander introduced in Secret Avengers.

Boy, Remander likes robots, doesn't he?

You're braver than me. I bailed after the first issue. $3.99 was just too pricey for a book in which approximately nothing happened.

That's what I've learned from this too. It's not like they're even being dumped into decent titles. Marvel Now has so many good books the Runaways could be shuffled into but ever since their title ended they've been getting crap guest appearances.

Maybe Death Lockette... if she survives Avengers Arena.

Hmmmm... Just had an idea. Wonder if this is the REAL Pym or an LMD or something similar? Robot Pym, maybe?

Sounds cool. Especially if Victor Mancha's involved,

though I keep hoping to see Hickman's name on this. Now that would make the AI considerations truly something...
