Wait...so "irregardless" is now considered a word because a bunch of uninformed people who didn't actually know that it wasn't one just kept using it? Is "frack" in the running as well?

Of course "frack" is in many dictionaries. It was the most favored word to add to the Macquarie Dictionary, for example, in a 2011 poll, and was added to it along with a list of other favored words as a result.

I feel like I've wandered into a thread full of pedantic 8th grade English teachers. :lol:
