I've been reading volumes 1-6 of Neon Genesis Evangelion. And I've enjoyed them so much. So much. I plan to review each volumen individually, so that's 6 reviews. I hope to find the time...

Sayaka Mogi's Horror Manga Pupa Has Anime in the Works

The "Earth Star Anime Matsuri" event at Anime Contents Expo announced on Sunday that an anime adaptation of Sayaka Mogi's Pupa manga is in the works.

The "life-and-death sibling" story follows Utsutsu and Yume Hasegawa, a boy and his little sister who find themselves all alone. One day, Yume sees a mysterious red butterfly and her body undergoes a strange metamorphosis — into a creature that eats humans. Utsutsu struggles to find a way to restore his sister.

Magi Anime Gets Sequel This Fall

The final episode of the Magi television anime series ended with an announcement that a sequel has been green-lit for this fall. The setting of the sequel will be Magnostadt.

I don't know, there are some differences. The thing I loved the most is that the manga has more story, so -for instance- you see how the friendship between Shinji and Toji Suzuhara evolves after a couple of hundreds of pages. And then, when Toji dies at the end of volume 6 you feel like you need to cry. I didn't get that feeling from the anime because the character had only been around for a few episodes.

Magi's Sinbad Side Story Manga Becomes a Full Series

The Magi television anime series revealed on Sunday that Sinbad no Bōken (The Adventures of Sinbad), a side story to Shinobu Ohtaka's original Magi - The Labyrinth of Magic manga, will be turned into a full manga series on May 8. Yoshifumi Ōtera will once again draw the manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine.

'Wanna Be the Strongest in the World' Anime's Promo Streamed

Earth Star Entertainment's Comic Earth Star magazine began streaming the promotional video that formally announced the anime adaptation of ESE and Kiyohito Natsuki's Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai! (Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai!) manga on Monday. The same video, with no actual animated footage, played at Anime Contents Expo on Sunday.

The story revolves around Sakura, the main vocalist of the nationally renowned idol group Sweet. Sakura suddenly decides to become a female professional wrestler one day.
