Pfft, even these C-List Spider-Man villains are better than the Flash's A-List rogues.

Obviously there's a sixth member whose entry will be a SURPRISE. It has Shocker and Boomerang and other rogues of Spidey. That by itself adds it to my pull list.

Rhino was part of the original deadly foes but I think there were only five of them.

The Flash's rogues are one of the most overrated concepts in comics, they're a bunch of lame gimmick villains that Geoff Johns tried waaaay too hard to make bad-ass. I never understood them and didn't like how the Flash title became more about them than the Flash himself.

They aren't a patch on Spider-Man or Batman's villains.

Don't ALL Geoff Johns books end up being more about the villain than the hero?

A book about a group of D-list super villains pulling off Parker-esque (Richard Stark, not Peter) heists drawn by Steve Lieber? Yeah, I think I'll be buying this. I'd rather have Fred Van Lente doing the writing, because MODOK's Eleven was so awesome, but I'll give Spencer a shot

Pretty much, although Aquaman has avoided that so far, it's clear that Johns has a man-crush on Black Manta, but he hasn't gone overboard with it yet.

I have a bigger issue with the focus on Mera, who is just lame.

The erased every other DC marriage except the shit one!

With the title being the Superior Foes of Spider-Man and the lack of a sixth member, my guess is that Peter and Otto will be separated and that Otto will use what he learned during his time in Peter's body to renew his war against the webcrawler. Although, it could be the opposite. Peter could be separated from his own body and he recruits the other villains to form the Superior Six to fight against Otto.

Normally I would look forward to a title like this, but these characters interest me not at all. That being said, if they become really well developed characters through this title, ala Secret Six, I could get into this. It just remains to be seen.

Well, there's 3 former Thunderbolts...

Wait, how did he get back from wherever he went at the end of Thunderbolts?

I hope they address that.
