I think Warren Ellis can be great, but his stuff that is supposed to be humorous just doesn't jibe with my sense of humor.

He can be a little misanthropic at times, IMO. It translates into his comics. To be honest, there is one series everyone seems to love that I can't stand and that is Transmetropolitan. It's because of his misanthropic attitude. I have never been able to make it past the first collection.

I just got the 2nd trade of 6th Gun yesterday. I need to catch up on some other stuff and then I'll read it.
