It's in colors, plus the sounds and the music.

Kyoto Animation: Kyōkai no Kanata Anime Is in the Works

Kyoto Animation updated its website for Nagomu Torii's Kyōkai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary) light novel series on Wednesday to reveal that an anime adaptation is in the works.

The dark fantasy follows a high school sophomore named Akihito Kanbara. Although the boy appears human, he is half yōmu and invulnerable to wounds because he can heal quickly. One day, Akihito meets freshman Mirai Kuriyama when it seems she is about to jump from the school rooftop. Mirai is isolated because of her ability to manipulate blood, which is unique even among members of the spirit world. Disturbing events begin to unfold after Akihito saves Mirai.

Yozakura Quartet Manga Gets New TV Anime

Yozakura Quartet manga creator Suzuhito Yasuda and the cast of the Yozakura Quartet anime announced in a Niconico live program on Thursday that a new television anime adaptation has been green-lit. Yasuda's manga follows four teenagers:

Hime is a superheroine. Ao can read minds. Kotoha can conjure up anything with the right word. And Akina... Well, he's just a regular guy, surrounded by three supergirls! Together, they protect the town of Sakurashin. But that's not easy, as the town faces demon dogs and supernatural threats!

Production on a new, separate "Tsuki ni Naku" original anime DVD series was also announced last week.
