I was suprised The Great One didn't give his favorite character a deathbed scene

Yeah I was pretty surprised...he did however evacuate his bowels...I mean how else would super sniffer Wolverine know someone had died?

Stupidest scene I read this week, and considering I read Green Lantern that's saying something.

I figured it was meant to imply Hulk was going insane, but it could just be Walking Dead style unintentionally bad writing.

seemed pretty simple to me:

Taskmaster appeared to be rabbiting, Rulk didn't trust him, and Rulk's a hotheaded idiot of a stupid character. rather than risk the possibility of TM betraying him now that he finally thinks he has a shot at hurting Ultron, he killed him.

I would like to believe that Bendis openly wept as he was writing the death of Luke Cage.

No, he was laughing when he stripped the Vision down and had him serve as a puppet for Ultron. Luke Cage is the love of his life, whatever he has in store for the rest of the heroes can't be good if he didn't want Cage there front and center.

Luke Cage joining the Avengers is one of the best things Bendis has ever done with Marvel comics.

I don't have a problem with Luke Cage joining the Avengers. In fact, I actually liked the idea of Luke, Spider-Man, Iron Fist, and Doctor Strange joining the team and sticking around. My problem comes from the way that Bendis treated the other members of the Avengers in order to fit the rest of them onto the team. There is a lot of talk about certain DC characters who are considered "toxic" but it almost seems like Bendis actually attempted to make certain Avengers "toxic" in order to excuse himself from ignoring and/or neglecting them for the better part of the past decade.

Well, New Avengers kind of became his platform for his avengers and Mighty Avengers was supposed to be the "classic" style Avengers. Really he kind of just did whatever he wanted with them. It's why I stopped having interest in his Avengers really early into his run. It just became a fanboy wankfest.

Issue 3 was the last issue that I will actually buy of this but that doesn't mean I won't read it for free at my LCS.

I stopped with #2. Haven't read #3 yet.

Maybe if stuff starts happening...

I think I might be the only person on the internet who’s been enjoying Age Of Ultron. Maybe I have low standards, but I enjoy big-event-mode Bendis and I feel like this is the best Bryan Hitch’s art has looked since The Ultimates 2. It also helps that the series has basically been coming out weekly, so I don’t feel the decompression nearly as much as I would if it was on a regular monthly schedule. This issue had some really great moments if you just stop moaning about it. She-Hulk’s death was great, and Luke Cage’s mid-air fight with the Ultrons and then his surviving a nuclear fucking explosion was epic heroism. I’m sure most of you will roll your eyes at Bendis once again fellating his man-crush Luke Cage, but it was awesome. I also really dig the idea of Ultron taking control of things from the future so that the heroes can’t get him, that’s a cool twist. I’m guessing that next issue the Avengers will head into the future and the second, Hitch-less phase of this story will begin. So yeah, I like Age Of Ultron, what are you gonna do? I can’t help it. Oh, and Ka-Zar showed up, I love Ka-Zar, more Ka-Zar please Marvel.

I don't really hate this series, but it's far from Bendis' best work.
