Global Frequency – Speaking of Warren Ellis, it’s not too far out there so I loved!

I’d read the first issue a while ago and remember liking it and always meant to get the trades and finally did when they collected the whole series in one volume.

They’re all done in one with only two characters showing up in all the issues. Each issue also has a different artist, Chris Sprouse was my favorite.

I do but I don't like to unless I am absolutely sure that I can't find it at a brick and mortar store. I suppose that I'm a little old fashioned that way.

Anybody else thinking about picking this up?

Time has not improved this one, although it does seem to have put Michael Ryan into a different line of work.

Kathy Immonen's run immediately following this was almost as good as BKV's. It's too bad Whedon's mess turned so many people off.

Didn't Terry Moore pop in for a stretch between Whedon and Immonen?

I really liked Immonen's take on things but I think the book was probably already cancelled before she handed in her first issue, judging on how many issues she got to do.

I'm finally moving on to my Iron Man omnibus by Michelinie/Layton/Romita Jr. I think I've only read three of the included 43 issues before. I just finished reading my Thor omnibus I got back on Christmas. Whenever I finish reading Iron Man I'll move on to the X-Statix omnibus I just bought today. I think I'll be busy for awhile.

How do you read them? Do you read them at a table, or in a chair? Can you lie down and put the book on your chest?

I decided not to start the Fourth World stuff just yet. Between Simonson Thor and Sandman, I is a busy boy.

I'm old fashioned when it comes to good manners and fine dining.

I read them in my bed, so I don't have to use my girly muscles to hold them for long periods of time.

Leave my chest out of this.

Dungeons & Dragons v.1: Shadowplague – This was super good. Great characters and really fun adventure. I liked the short characters the most.

Really liked Andrea Di Vito’s art, best I’ve seen of his.

The character sheets in the back were neat.

 My dog weighs 8lbs.

When you put the X-Statix Omnibus on your chest, does it also lick your face?
