I swung by Portland (I live 20 minutes away) and no X-statix. They had like Atlantis Attacks and Acts of Vengeance for 20 bucks. And a bunch of other cheap HCs.

That's my store. :smt013 :-D

Unless they get multiple copies, I got the Byrne Omnibus there.

They had the Golden Age of Marvel one which I was eying but Larry's comic shop is having a big honking sale this weekend.

I went to the Newbury Street store and got the last Byrne FF Omnibus.

I was tempted by Atlantis Attacks because I loved it as a kid but I decided I didn't want to take two of those monsters all the way home on the T.

Here is the link to their web sight http://www.newburycomics.com/
Only about 10% of their business is still comic books. Thus it's a good place to flip through new books. As long as you buy othere stuff like DVDs and headphones once in a while, the managers don't complain about it.

It's the closest store to my house. Call, you never know.

I have no idea if they had more in the back since that fucker is huge.

I swear we should all do a meet up at the Boston Comicon in a couple of weeks.

I will this year. Last year I was running around like a ninny Saturday and in Kevin Eastman's line all day Sunday.

I have never gone to a Comicon in my life. Hell, I haven't even gone to the Granite State Comicon in my own state. Maybe I should change that.

Do we know how long this sale is going on for? Want to go back next week to get my hands on the Bryne omnibus.

I got the Yost/kyle X-force hardcover for 10 bucks and Siege/Dark Avengers for 15 each.
