I saw some single issues on sale at a book shop. I think it was around $20 for the set. It's only in Deluxe HC format and since I dislike HCs I think I might wait until the paperback gets a release in a couple years.

I thought it was good. I read it in singles as it was coming out, so I still need to go back and read them all at once, but I liked it.

There are a few places where I was confused by the art, but overall it was a decent story with some cool social commentary. Oh, the dialog is a little weird in places because they basically invent their own future slang... but once you get used to it, it's actually pretty cool and definitely adds to the atmosphere of the book.

Like you, I hate those "premier" hardcovers or HCs at all for anything less than 12 issues or so.
I would either get the singles or wait for a paperback... shouldn't be too much longer, I wouldn't think.

How about Zero Hour? I'm thinking about catching up on older events.

Yeah, it's not bad. Plus, at the end, it demonstrates how a DC timeline should be done.

If you do buy it, Orchid, make sure to read it from issue 4 to issue 0, instead of the normal way.

Secret Warriors anyone? It's only 28 issues so I don't mind tracking down the books.

Rick Remender's Punisher?

I bought some of it today so it kinda defeats the purpose but still.
