Luckily my friend was with me and we also went to the record shop or else I would have been like "meh fuck it" and just bought the digital issue.

Why not? I've taken plenty of people to various comic shops. Actually, I took Emma to one of the shops I go to a lot. She bought some Avengers book or something.

LCS are more common in the US , here in Perú not so much.
