So Kang just Casually picked him up in the 80's? Or 1700's? or before he was killed which ever time? But totally after En Sabah Nur defeats Kang as a pharoh in ancient egypt? I fucking hate continuity and time travel. |

I assume this was the Apocalypse from that time period, that he hadn't travelled through time to get to the year 1013. |

Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder (the goats) are actually drawn from Norse mythology. Thor has a chariot drawn by those two goats but their names are something else. They appeared in the Simonson run but I don't know if they were around before that. edit: Acuna colored the art himself. |

I'm not the biggest Thor fan, as I often find it to be pompous, boring, and long-winded. If a Thor like this exists elsewhere, please tell me about it, Keb, and I'll read it. |

Simonson Omnibus, fool! buy it, read it, break your back trying to lift it, but love it all the same! also, Aaron's current Thor, God of Thunder book is fucking awesome. |

Read the frog issue of Thor (it was free on Comixology for a spell) and was surprised at how much I loved it. Read Aaron's Thor, though, and couldn't stomach it. I think it's Esaad Ribic's art. Try as I might, I can't get into his work. |

i know you're totally all-digital now, but the Simonson Omni is a special case you should make an exception for. it looks like a real book ( ![]() you really should buy it and keep that monster on your shelf for all to see. |

My roommate actually owns it. So, trust me, I'll be reading it all in due time. ![]() However, if I'm going to be buying an omnibus, it'll be THIS motherfucker: ![]() This easily contains some of my all-time favorite superhero comics. I hope they put out a volume 2! |

that stuff is great. LOVE the old Michelinie IM. but i promise you the Simonson Thor stuff is even better. |

Simonson Thor is a really good take on Thor. I'm going through it a second time right now. It's a long, slow, arduous read but it's been totally worth it. You have to sit down and read it in increments, like 1-3 issues at a time, but it's a lot of fun. There's a lot going on and every issue is packed with story. |

For me personally, the weak point of this issue is exactly what I thought it would be. While not as bad as most of his past work, Daniel Acuña's art is still simply not for me. I would have preferred that somebody like Olivier Coipel would have stayed on or since this was a Thor-centric issue, even Thor: God of Thunder's Esad Ribić but all things considered, I think this story may have won me over enough to make me look past Acuña's until the next arc. 7/10 |
