I have the 3D blu-ray sitting in my living room but haven't found time to watch it.

The original Evil Dead is on Hulu. What a classic! I'd forgotten how disgusting it can get. I haven't seen it since I watched Cabin in the Woods, and it really puts a nice new angle on it :-D

Watched a couple movies last night:

Rise of the Guardians- Thought it was pretty good. It had kind of a unique and interesting concept.

Sushi Girl- This movie was ok... Probably wouldn't watch it again. It really didn't break any new ground and I felt like the overall concept was something that has been done time and time again. Also, I wouldn't recommend it if you don't care for nudity.

Also, watched this one about a week ago and forgot to post about it:

Tai Chi Zero- I actually really enjoyed this movie. It was sort of like a weird combination of Scott Pilgrim and a bunch of old school kung fu flicks. From what I can understand, it is only part one, so I am definitely interested in seeing the second part.

Let the Right One In - Fantastic movie. Makes me want to watch Let Me In again to see all the differences between the two films. It seemed to have some big differences, but it could just be my bad memory.

I heard the theatrical one left out a lot of non-action scenes, making it less complex yet more confusing.
Also people couldn't suspend their disbelief of The Fall.

I watched "Total Recall" Friday night on Starz. Was entertaining but seemed like it was all over the place at times. Maybe it played better on the big screen ?

Watching the 2008 "Outlander" movie (with Jim Caviezel) right now.

I liked it, the CGI was amazing and Martin Freeman is excellent as Bilbo.

I did find it odd how much stuff not from the books is in there, and I have worries about how they can stretch this out for 2 more 3-hour films, but this first instalment was good.

Dead Snow - Just your typical Norwegian horror movie about Nazi zombies attacking medical students in a cabin. How many times do we need to see machine guns mounted on snow mobiles, guys amputating their bitten limbs off with a chainsaw, just to get their penis bitten five seconds later, a girl having sex with a guy in an outhouse, where she licks his fingers just after he got done wiping his ass, a guy throwing a molotov cocktail into the side of his own cabin, a guy wrapping his cut neck with duct tape, etc...?

Sleep Tight - Cesar is a miserable fuck of a man. Since he can't be happy, he sets out to make everyone in his apartment that he works at unhappy. Clara is the only one who he can't seem to bring down. She is always happy and smiling no matter what happens to her. Cesar waits under her bed each night for Clara to fall asleep. Once she falls asleep Cesar chloroforms her, and sleeps next to her. He also tampers with her stuff, steals her jewelery, infests her apartment with bugs, and so on.

Last night I watched a double bill of Speed and Speed Racer. Speed Racer's cgi has aged badly, but it's still awesome dammit.
