Has anyone read the Shadow Moon/Dawn/Star follow ups? Wonder if they were any good.

I remember reading once that John Carpenter wanted to do a sequel to The Thing, with both Kurt Russell and Keith David returning

I don't see how a 4th Blade movie wouldn't be a priority now that Snipes is out of prison for his tax evasion. Either a proper sequel or a one-off would be just fine with me as long as Snipes is in it & it's full of vampire killing gore and no Nightstalkers or Dracula. I personally always wanted to see Goyer's proposed darker version of a sequel where it was 20 or so years after the 2nd movie and Vampires had all but taken over and enslaved humans with Blade being humanity's last hope.

Also, for a previous question on another Tron sequel I remember back in December someone was hired to do a rewrite on the script and it was confirmed that both Bruce Boxleitner and Garrett Hedlund would be returning along with Quorra. I think they were waiting for Kosinsk to finish up with his involvement on Oblivion to decide whether he wanted to do another Tron.

I'm a little torn.

While I'd love to see more from the world of Inception, I feel like Cobb's story is done and an Inception sequel MIGHT look like a Matrix sequel.

That's a good point. What about a movie in the world of Inception, with new characters?

That could be cool. That's pretty much what I was thinking of.

Of course, it could be risky, but I think it'd be better than bringing back everyone.

OR... have a couple of characters return (Arthur & Ariadne, OR Saito, maybe Eames, etc.). But it should have a different feel than the first movie. And, without Mal screwing things up, there would have to be something else going on...

Or just screw it and make the sequel a Goldeneye-like video game instead.
