Just one day after Ryback’s tweet about John Cena’s ex-wife, every single one of his tweets at @Ryback22 have been deleted. Ryback’s account now reads, “@Ryback22 hasn’t tweeted yet.

Don West posted the following on Twitter last night…

Just got my biannual royalty check from TNA and if it wasn’t so hilarious it would be sad

A fan then asked if it was a “brown bag special,” which is a deal West put together for TNA that cost $20. His response was, “it is actually less than a brown bag special”.

I agree but Punk has a way of making you not like him at a drop of hat, like Y2J he can push the right buttons at the right time to get that positive response for the other guy

I agree sort of... Y2J of 10 years ago, yes. Y2J of now could kick puppies and still get cheered.

I think he's at that point in his career where people will cheer him now matter what. Just like Flair, HBK and HHH to name a few.

The whole face/heel concept seems to be fundamentally broken in WWE.

Face John Cena will be booed no matter what he does.

Heel CM Punk (and others) will be cheered no matter what he does.

Is this WWE's fault or the fan's? It's hard to say.

Not really anyone's fault, the viewership is just taking a cynical turn. Remember when the era of Hulkamania, white-hatted good guys ended, and the anti-heroes like Austin were cheered? All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again. :P

You can blame both. Cena and Sheamus come out joking and it undermines their respective bad guys, and you want to see them beat up those stupid clowns. Cena has the clout to say that stupid shit.

Then there’s stuff like Big Show vs two guys. Yeah he’s gigantic but he’s still at a disadvantage.

And like I said the other day, you have Lawler cheering on these supposed good guys just adds to the irritation. And you see the bad guys as underdogs.

Saw Main Event again, show started with the battle royal. I like most of the guys but when I saw who was in it I just thought, what a sad fucking sight. Justin Gabriel won and had a good match against Barrett later in the show.

Also saw ROH from last week. Really good show, great match with Bobby Fish vs Eddie Edwards. I like the story of them hating each other hear but having to team up in Japan. Mark Briscoe won a TV Title shot for the next PPV.

I think that a big part of the problem right now is that you have a guy like John Cena who, in the ring as a character has become stale and boring but can't grow or develop because of the things that he does outside of the ring. As fans and adults, we know that they don't want to pull the trigger and turn Cena heel because of all the hard work that he does for charities and children. Children still love him because they are told to love him because he has loud, colorful t-shirts, and he makes them laugh by making fun of him opponents. Kids make their parents buy his shirts and his merchandise and that makes the WWE money. As long as the kids keep buying into the SuperCena character I'm afraid that we, the fans, are stuck with him. Frankly, in my opinion, that sucks.

People cheer for guys like CM Punk even though they are heels, because they are constantly growing and developing. Even if we may not like some of the things that they are doing, we appreciate the fact that they are trying something new. Just look at what happened when Dolph Ziggler won the World Heavyweight title, people went crazy! This is a big reason why I think that CM Punk easily got the better of The Rock leading up to the Royal Rumble. While The Rock came out and did his same old song and dance routine, basically coming out sounding like a schoolyard bully, CM Punk refused to stand there and take it.

Anyone watch Impact?

Taz was so terrible in the Angle handicap match. He said a lowblow was ok cause Angle is so good and those goofballs are so bad. I get a heel trying to justify it but that was fucking stupid. What a bonehead!

Promo between Bad Influence and Roode/Aries fun.

Woman’s match was pretty good. Played like they had been feuding for a while, wish they were used more than Velvet Sky. Mickie James looked kind of thin. More than usual I guess. :smt102

I'm watching the Best of smackdown dvd set, the majority of the stuff and the matches picked are really well done.

I also realize that I miss the old color commentator version of Cole. He needs his enthusiasm back. :-(

Smackdown was really good this week, even though it had no Dolph Ziggler.

Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio had another very good match, that may have even been better than their Wrestlemania one. It was really aggressive, and the constant-reversals work a lot better for two wrestlers who have submission finishers than it does for guys like Rock or Cena. I am very much looking forward to the 3-way match at Extreme Rules, although, is a Triple Threat really that 'extreme'? They should at least make it a falls-count anywhere match.

Fandango kicked the crap out of Santino, which was fun, I'm still all aboard the Fandango train, and Santino may be stupid, but he's funny and you need funny guys to lighten things up a little. Plus, his outright comedy was a good contrast for Fandango, a character who is just this close to becoming goofy as hell, but somehow manages to still be taken seriously. His skeezing on the ring announcer was great.

The mixed-tag match was kind of stupid, but I did like that they bothered to have a reason for it to happen (Primo, Epico and Rosa stole Khali, Hornswoggle and Natalya's parking space), most weeks it would just happen for no reason. I also like how Hornswoggle was driving the car.

Barrett Vs Kingston was a match I didn't want to see after their lengthy feud over the IC title in the autumn, but it was OK, it's weird that Kofi is back to kicking ass after 2 months of losing in 3 seconds to the Big Show or whatever, and it annoys me that Barrett ALWAYS FUCKING LOSES when he's supposed to be champion, but the match was good. Hopefully Wade will get a big hometown win in London next week.

Speaking of London, The Shield's video was great, I hope the match with Team Hell No and Undertaker actually happens and we don't get swerved out of it.

Mark Henry and Big Show absolutely fucking creamed Orton and Sheamus, it was glorious, brutal destruction and I loved it. Give those two the tag-team titles now! They would crush all who came before them.

I expect the Shield/Taker&THN match to be a no contest. I'm doubting that The Sheild are gonna lose on RAW before the PPV.
