It should make you question why you're not seeking out other books like Mind MGMT, although you do claim to have read Wizzywig...so there's some progress there. You should read Matt Kindt's Black Widow story in the Strange Tales anthology, it's almost like a Mind MGMT prototype, believe it or not, framed similarly on the page like an agent's report sheet. And there are other gems in those anthologies that might make you want to read some other good comics for a change.

Now you're just making it too easy for me to Herald you:

I should make you wait for it...but a little taste couldn't hurt. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Love this series. The art, the little touches where he has bonus story stuff in the front and back of the book or even in the margins. It all works so great, probably my one of my favorite comics each month. 10/10.

Mind MGMT #10 - First things first, if you are not reading this book because the $3.99 price tag scares you away from trying a new series, you're crazy. Matt Kindt uses 100% of the space he is given to effortlessly weave together every aspect of the world he has created and the results are breathtaking. If you want to catch up on this series but can't find the back issues, I strongly recommend buying the hardcover edition of the first volume.

Now, Mind MGMT #10 starts off with an introduction to Duncan, the Futurist, who has already been "introduced" to us earlier in the series through one of the case file backups as well as brief passing glances throughout the series. Since parting ways with Mind MGMT, Duncan keeps himself busy but unfulfilled by opening his own private detective agency. We are given an interesting look into how Duncan uses his abilities to aide his efforts but how detrimental they have become to his personal life. For a man known as "The Futurist," Duncan's life has slipped into a humdrum routine of predictable patterns. Halfway through the issue, Kindt switches gears and shifts the focus of the story back onto Meru and her team, while the question becomes, how do you catch a man who knows what you are going to do before you do it?

I really don't want to ruin anything here but the case file backup for this issue is a real eye opener for those of you who have read the entire series and serves as a reminder to all of us that every aspect of this series fits together in a wonderful puzzle-like way. Don't take anything about this book for granted because it will likely come back full circle.

Once again, the art is absolutely gorgeous and as I have already pointed out, Kindt uses all of the space available to him to create an experience unlike anything you will experience in most comic series. As others have already pointed out, it is absolutely amazing that Kindt is capable of producing this level of quality each month. Bottom line, read this book!

10/10

We are faceless. We are limitless. We see all. And we do not forgive.
Who defends the powerless against the GREEDY and the CORRUPT? Who protects the homeless and poverty-stricken from those who would PREY upon them in the DARK OF NIGHT?
When those who are sworn to protect us abuse their power, when toxic government calls down super-human lackeys to force order upon the populace...finally, there is a force, a citizen’s army, to push order BACK.
Let those who abuse the system know this as well: We have our OWN super humans now. They are not afraid of your badges or Leagues. And they will not be SILENCED.
