I just read it. It looks good. You can tell its got that epic feel to it. But I have no idea what's going on? What's online? Are we dealing with computers or complex biological motives and evolution? My brain is hurting Hickman

I wouldn't be surprised if Aurora and Northstar get shoe-horned into Singer's new X-Men movie. It's not like he hasn't included almost all the x-characters in it already.

Alpha Flight = South Park's Kenny for Marvel Comics super-teams?

Heck yeah!

Alpha Flight would be Kenny and Terrence and Phillip all wrapped into one.

The Earth is online. Ex Nihlo is trying it turn it into a living organism.

Sadly, The Star Brand killed the brain last issue.

Captain America got stung by a jellyfish and the other Avengers had to pee on him. They shall never speak of this again.

This whole origin bomb/dome with super advanced evolution, time shifting, etc. really feels like ground Hickman already covered in his first Ultimates arc with the Children of Tomorrow or whatever they were called, that were led by evil Reed Richards, which was in and of itself an adaptation of the Children of the Vault storyline from Mike Carey's X-Men.

But what does 'being online' mean?? What exactly is happening? It's already been 10 issues and it still doesn't really make sense.
And what is Ex Nihilos problem? It's like he's allowed to chill on Mars because that eternal god lady let him go in issue 3 but it's just not all adding up and getting kinda annoying to look through and try to 1. Remember what happened last issue 2. Try to understand how the issue we are reading fits into the whole picture

Ex Nihlo tried to turn the Earth into a sentient being. The bombs were designed to set up a different function a sentiment being needs to survive.

I'm assuming Capt. Universe cut the deal with the Avengers to let him stay because he'd be needed later on to deal with the Universe being "broken." My guess is the Avengers relented because they really didn't have a way to deal with him and his sister, except to kill them. Which I assume that would have been nigh impossible.

Not a fan of these kind of stories where the "high concepts" take center stage and the heroes are supporting characters in their own book.
