Figured enough time had passed for all the hype and preconceptions to have died down to finally watch this. Excellent movie. 4 out of 5. Jessica Chastain was brilliant.

The Dark Knight - Much better than Batman Begins.

The Dark Knight Rises - Damn did this movie feel looong. Pretty good movie, if you don't mind not seeing Batman.

The Impossible - Phenomenal movie. Since when are PG-13 movies allowed to show nudity and so much blood? Do movies get a free pass when they are based on a true story?

Django Unchained. Absolutely phenomenal movie! If you loved Inglorious Basterds, then you will love this. Christoph Waltz is just epic. The dude is an acting genius! Between both of those movies, he is in my top three actors of all time list.

Watched these two last night.

Typical Tom Cruise movie with a very poor supporting cast. It was OK at best. 1.5 out of 5.

Yeah, I'll be honest, the only reason I watched this was cuz of JGL. What can I say, I like the dude. The movie much like the first one was OK at best. 2 out of 5. (JGL gets an extra .5)

ParaNorman – Really liked this. Starts really fun with an 80s style horror movie theme and it’s used throughout the movie.

Seems there’s a trend of a loner, weirdo character in these animated movies.

The animation was pretty great. Thinking about stop motion is kind of scary, seems like a daunting task.

Goldeneye – All the Bond flicks are expiring on Netflix so I picked this to watch.

Amazing opening and the chase scene with the tank is so great. Kind of want to watch Fast and Furious 6 cause they’re doing a thing with a tank too.

Also, young Famke Jansen. :smt007 Not that she’s still not super gorgeous.

Just watched it - surprisingly liked it a lot (as did the wife).

Caught this movie last night and my girlfriend and I absolutely agree. She finds Keira Knightley to be very off putting but we were both surprised by how much we enjoyed the film.

Afterward we caught:

Another movie that was surprisingly good. Although, the prospect of Bat-Swine Flu is terrifying!

Just finished watching "John Dies At the End"... Truthfully, it felt like the writers weren't even exactly sure what direction they wanted the movie to go in... Aspects of it were interesting, but it felt like the movie got lost in it's own attempt at a complex storyline, making the overall conclusion of the movies so convoluted that it never actually accomplishes a point...

Iron Man 3 and Broken City. Broken City was alright. Iron Man 3 was pretty good. I still think the original Iron Man is the best in the series. Part 3 had too much comedy in it and the scenes with the kid were annoying. I had some other minor issues with it, but fuck it.

Very different from what I was expecting! This was one of those movies where I had no idea at all what it was about going into it, which is always nice I think. Anyway, I thought it kicked ass! Very interesting storyline, and the dude that plays younger Pi did a great job I think. Absolutely worth watching.
