Sounds like a serious addiction to me.

Almost all I've had to drink is water and you're right... you do feel better! I do drink tea and coffee once in a while (but only if my wife is already making it).

Also agree about diet cola's. HORRIBLE stuff.

Bragging time: I went from 245 to 185. Most didn't notice until I had lost 30, but after that I got all kinds of comments. Most were compliments, but a few were asking "So, did you mean to lose weight....?" (That's apparently the white person's polite way of asking if you have cancer.) I never knew that could be a compliment!

Awesome! My goal is to lose 60. I'm down 20 so far.

Actually, I already addressed what I'd be discussing when Dan and the Gang get the boot, and the real DCU is restored, thank you. :P

Oh, that's right; you weren't here for it! Image

Time for an encore, then! Image

Now, if you really want a preview of what I'd be discussing after Dan and the Gang are gone and the real DCU restored, well, let me put it this way...

There's been so many things that's held us down...

Image Image Image

...but now it looks like things are FINALLY comin' around! :smt026
I know we've got a long, long way to go!
And where we'll end up, I don't know! :smt102

But we won't let nothing hold us back!
We're puttin' ourselves together!
We're polishin' up our act, well!

And if you've ever been held down before...

Image

...I KNOW you refuse to be held down any more, well!

Don't you let nothing, NOTHING
Stand in your way, yeah!!

Image

I want ya'll to listen, LISTEN
To every word I say!
EVERY word I say!!

Ain't no stoppin' us now!!
We're on the move!!
(HUH!!)
Ain't no stoppin' us now!!
We've got the groove!!
(HUH!!)

Ain't no stoppin' us now!!
We're on the move!!
(I know! I know!)
Ain't no stoppin' us now!!
We've got the groove!!
(We've got it! :-D)

I know you know someone that has a negative vibe...

Image

...And if you're tryin' to make it, they only push you aside!
They really don't have nowhere to go!
Ask 'em where they're going...
THEY.
DON'T.
KNOW.

*facepalm*

But we won't let nothing hold us back!
We're gonna put ourselves together!
Gonna polish up our act, well! :-D

Coke Zero is just Diet Coke without the salt content.

Yeah. I've got an app and everything.

Right now my problem is that I don't work out/get active consistently. I get outside and walk 3 times a week for a good half hour, but it's with the dog and he only walks so far before his tiny ass gets tired and sits down on the floor and looks at me. I also try to do push ups, sit ups and squats as often as possible but lately I've been having chest pains so I've taken it easy.

I can do 25 push ups again, which makes me happy.

Keb wrote:Yeah. Fries are totally not good to eat. I've given up tons of foods I was eating that were just junk. Fries (any type of potato, really), cheese, gravy, bacon (yeah, bacon), etc. I stopped eating out as well. I rarely go out for dinner and if I do, it's no longer fried chicken or poutine.

I mean, i like fries. But if I have fries, with the grease, I'll be able to eat a very small portion (like say, 10 fries) and will be full for hours. So that means that's all i'm having for lunch in that case. Makes it easier to make a healthy decision in a case like that.

I'll still eat them sometimes, but as a treat, not as a daily side dish. :P

It's diet coke with a formula more similar to regular coke, flavor wise. Diet coke has a formula more similar to pepsi, flavor wise. I've done a lot of reading on the cola wars. :P

It is so delicious compared to Diet Coke. God, now I need one and I am out. Off to the store.

No salt is the reason.

I mostly drink Diet Pepsi or Caffeine Free Diet Coke. I like not grinding my teeth by the end of the day if possible.

Coffee, tea, cola... teethgrindgrindgrindgrindgrindgrindgrindgrindgrindgrind.

It contains 70MG of sodium, just like Diet Coke: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/01/1 ... 99008.html

Nutritional Info.com says 30MG in both, maybe the serving sizes are different. But either way, it doesn't contain zero or even less sodium.
