An end is in sight Arion...

Evangelion Manga to End in 2 More Chapters

The June issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine is revealing on Thursday that Yoshiyuki Sadamoto is ending his Neon Genesis Evangelion manga in two more chapters. If the science-fiction series runs the remaining chapters without a break, it will end in June.

Sadamoto launched the manga in the third issue ever published of Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in December of 1994 — before the anime itself premiered on television. It has been running on and off for over 18 years since then. To celebrate the upcoming finale, Young Ace is running an "Evangelion Comic Climax Special Program" with talk sessions between the people involved and other content in the remaining issues.

Patlabor's Masami Yuuki Launches New Manga

Mobile Police Patlabor manga creator Masami Yuuki launched a new manga series in the June issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Spirits magazine on Saturday. The series, Disu x Komi, is Yuuki's first entirely new series in 10 years. His previous works were related to his pre-existing franchises, such as Birdy the Mighty.

Disu x Komi is a comedy that follows an aspiring manga artist and her older brother. The story begins when the sister's work wins the Rook of the Year award. Even though she should be happy, for some reason her face is sullen. The first chapter reveals the secret behind the sister's winning work.

Well I hope it doesn't come to that, but at least it is an option...

Nope. I am not a magical girl nor a fan of that show that much.

Have you watched it yet? It really was a great show.

It's the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 release formula.

Guess what, it worked like gangbusters.

Also, note that Japan itself is now subtitling anime in English to cut out the North Americans. Unicorn and Yamato are like this.
Yup, a lot of those "fansubs" are in fact not fansubs for DVD rip releases... not that any of us here in the law abiding OH would download such things. Nooooooooo we are not.

Thank Ceiling Cat this does not include video of me as I typed that...straight face was not achieved...

It can be so hard to be an old anime fan.

Finding the classic 80s stuff like Giant Gorg is not an easy thing.

:-(

Could have been an FB post.

Just caught up watching Hataraku Maou-sama!

Good show so far.

Basically, the big bad demon overlord Satan gets stuck here on Earth, changed into a human being and having to work at a McDonald's to survive. Throw in his arch nemesis, an red headed gal is also stranded in full human form... episode 5 things start going into expand the cast mode as reinforcements come from the home dimension.

So, for those who care the ranking I'd give this season so far as seen -

Space Battleship Yamato 2199 [****/****]
