![]() SMGO.tv is playing with our hearts; now announcing the attempt to bring back at least one of the two beloved shows. So at first, there was a no, and now it's a YES. Okay even this reporter is confused, at the logic of this all but apparently SMGO.tv is now reversing what it said in a way. Here's the You Tube video they posted:
So no from the Warners Brothers executives, but SMGO.tv is still going to give at least one of these shows a try, that show being Young Justice. We'll keep you updated on this wacky rollcoaster ride that is this news story. Written or Contributed by Zechs READ THIS ARTICLE ON THE FRONT PAGE, HUMANS! |

its pretty much another kickstarter, but this one focuses just on bringing back cancelled tv shows... and doesn't have as much clout in anything... |

The site just went online two months ago. This is their first "major" crowdfunded project since it's the one of the few things there that got voted into the next stage (Motor City is another one that got the votes for this). |

Pretty much all you need to know why Time-Warner put the kibbosh on this: It's not profitable enough for the undertaking. |

Of course it's a scam, in my opinion. They're asking for money, as you say, to fund production of a show they don't own the rights to, and one the rights holders have already said "yeah, we're not doing that." Thus, in a few months when this website can't produce YJ episodes, it won't be their fault; "Sorry fans, we tried our best, but WB won't let us." And when people begin asking "Well, ok, that sucks, can we get our donations back?" The whole site might just quietly disappear, never to be seen or heard from again. The only thing you'll crowdfund is their Caribbean getaway to lay low. |
