I don't see too much conversation about it. I'm still enjoying it, but am I alone?

I hated it with the first arc so much, I dumped it. THAT is not the Earth 2 I want.
"Why are you pointing your screwdrivers like that? They're scientific instruments, not water pistols."
"Oh, the pointing again! They're screwdrivers! What are you going to do? Assemble a cabinet at them?"
"Are you capable of speaking without flapping your hands about?"
""Timey" what? "Timey wimey"?"

Nicola Scott seems to love Jay Garrick's ass. It's almost softcore the she draws it. :groucho:

I'm not that excited about it, but I am reading it still. Though I am still in February's issues (of all my comics).

I'm still reading it. I'm enjoying it for the most part, even though Robinson is very evidently writing for the trade. It's certainly one of DC's better books, though (not saying much, I know).

I still read it, and I enjoy it very much.

I'm one of the few people here who enjoy most of what DC is currently putting out.

I dropped it a while back. It manages to commit two cardinal sins IMO---it bores me, and I don't like ANY of the characters.

It's pretty much the evil opposite to the JSA at its best.
Achilles is the kind of evil that hollows out a volcano for a lair, and sends killer robots after his enemies.---Lord Simian

I'm enjoying it immensely. I'm looking forward to the confrontation with Steppenwolf.

it is a book with obvious flaws (dialogue veers into "awful" territory on multiple occasions, Robinson's obvious need to check every single minority box in re-imagining these characters, slow trade-writing build, etc), yet despite those flaws i'm still enjoying it very much. Nicola's art is a big reason for that, but it also has a sense of "you don't know what's coming" that a lot of DC books don't, and i'm starting to come around to more of the characters as well (besides Jay, who I've liked from the beginning).

one of the only 7 or 8 DC books I still buy and enjoy at this point.

It near or at the top of my weekly stack.

Terry Sloan is the best character in the book (wish they'd show more of him). Garrick's costume is awful but I'm liking his character more and more (although his mother desperately needs to go home).

I really like it. I’d probably talk about it more if there was an official thread or something. Let’s make this one the Earth 2 thread.

I really like Jay so I’ve liked recent issues focusing on him. I’m curious what role his mom will play in the future. I like Hawkgirl the most after Jay.

Mister Miracle thing was kind of lame, the cover made it seem like he was going to meet up with Fate and Flash.

Would you recommend it to a trade-waiter?

Yeah I'd definitely say give the first one a shot and see what you think. I think you'll certainly know if you're gonna like or dislike it going forward from the first one.
