it is a book with obvious flaws (dialogue veers into "awful" territory on multiple occasions, Robinson's obvious need to check every single minority box in re-imagining these characters, slow trade-writing build, etc), yet despite those flaws i'm still enjoying it very much. Nicola's art is a big reason for that, but it also has a sense of "you don't know what's coming" that a lot of DC books don't, and i'm starting to come around to more of the characters as well (besides Jay, who I've liked from the beginning).
one of the only 7 or 8 DC books I still buy and enjoy at this point.
