It's going to be very interesting to see how Moyes will do when he has money and with higher expectations.

He's been a great manager for Everton, but is he ready for the Champion's League? Is he ready for the big-time?

i maintain my point that as a tactician he has a long way to go. he did well with everton with his expectations but i'm not sure he's cut out for winning the league.

OK, so this has just about sunk in now, but I'm still gutted. And it feels odd: the man has managed Manchester United since I was fifteen years old, and I'm forty two now.

Legend, though. Greatest manager of all time. Moyes is a brave, brave man.

Very good sources tweeting that Rooney asked to leave Manchester United two weeks ago.

Not a surprise. Well, if he wants to go, let him go.

Don't he and Moyes hate eachother ever since that libel case? Not really a shock TBH. All of a sudden with Rooney and Nani leaving a Ronaldo return or Bale signing doesn't seem that farfetched.....

Is it a done deal though? BBC has it done, but Sky says no deal yet. At this rate it looks like Mourinho to Chelsea, Moyes to Utd and Rafa to Everton.

Rafa Benitez to Everton? I know he still has a house in Liverpool and loves the city as a whole, but I really doubt he'd go to the blue side.

Your humor sense is broken :P

To be fair though who'd think we'd see Rafa at Chelsea after he berated the entire club, fans and culture as plastic.

I like Rafa, he tells it like it is!

The favourite for the Everton job is apparently Laudrup, but I hope he stays at Swansea.

An Evertonian friend of mine is bricking it over Hughes, but Laudrup would be a good shout for them.

Porto is 2 points behind with 2 matches remaining, if Benfica wins they clinch the title, if not everything is thrown to the last fixture where Benfica faces Moreirense (who will be relegated) at home and Porto goes to Pacos de Ferreira (who will go to the CL).

I think I'll tune in for this match.
