Just finished this one, the ending was kind of underwhelming but the book is a good read if clearly not in the same league of Game of Thrones et al.

Just passed the halfway point of this, and it's brilliant. Really good read despite the leisurely pace.

Yeah, 11/22/63 is the best Stephen King book in a long time.

I thought the vast majority of Under the Dome was phenomenal but that ending was :smt102

I agree. I thought Dome was the best thing he'd written since the Accident, but I absolutely believe he wrote himself into a corner, and just didn't KNOW how to end it, so he just... Eh.

11/22/63, though, really was a lot of fun.

My issue is I'm finding too many $1.99 daily deals on my kindle and just buying booms that sound interesting.

That seems to be my wife's problem. She buys tons of romance novels that were New york Times best sellers and half the time they turn out to be mommy port 50 Shades knock-offs, which she isn't too keen on.

MY problem, on the other hand, is that I doze off after ten minutes of reading regardless of time of day or how interesting the book is. =/

I convinced myself the Dome would be lifted the second Big Jim died, with Barbie knowing that his death would have had the same effect too and then the ending I got had more explanation and far less reason. Eh. I'll probably finish 11/22/63 tomorrow and then start either N0S4A2 or Double Feature straight away.

I have a code to read the first chapter of the next Jack Reacher novel, before it hits stores, if anyone is interested.

About 1/3 of the way through this, and I fucking love it. Hill is channeling some major early King here. Even moreso than he did with Horns. This is legit creepy as fuck.

The first half is some great fairy taley stuff, but the second is more urban fantasy and is a lot weaker. The ending also felt like it belonged to a different book. Shame.

Now I get to start on N0S4A2
