I like the Time War timelock gate keeper/keymaster theory too

LOL!

She should ask him... "Are you the gate-keeper?"

Sorry, just thought of that.

I think it's over due to just undo the Time War, given as how the Doctor has resurrected the dying Dalek race, now the dying Cyberman race... why not bring back the Time Lords? They weren't all bad and megalomaniacal... just some.. most were just lazy voyeurs. Plus, I think it was better having them around so that the Doctor had A- someone to answer to, B- someone to save him from time to time and C- mess him with as they had with all those missions.

Neil Gaiman and the Cybermen was pretty good.

I really dug the superspeed they used early on (and curious as to why it ended there). The new look of the Cybermen was okay but they looked too foamy instead of metal-y. Still a good fright in places. The effects used for the inside the mind to mind stuff was nice.

The Cybermites were fun (I want one to go with my Cybermat) but what was the point of them crawling over the Blackberry when the Tardis just made the girl a new phone?

No new real insights into the Clara mystery but if next week's the prologue is any indicator - we'll get our answers.

Trenzalore, here we come!

(And with a visit to Tranzalore also comes the "fall of the eleventh" when that which must not be answered - is answered. Silence WILL fall (and all that jazz)).

I suspect the look is due to the costumes being foam rubber instead of fiberglass. I like them.
The speed thing was dumb. Glad it was dropped but the constant "Upgrading" was annoying.
The Cybermites were amazing.

I think there was, or at least if you include the short - She Said, He Said - The Name of the Doctor Prequel.

Add that with the promo for next week and.... I have this crazy idea that she is perhaps A- River Song regenerated and somehow surviving beyond or B- She's River and the Doctor's daughter.

Nice episode, but still not as good as Tomb of the Cybermen or Earthshock.

Tomb of the Cybermen is one of top ten all time stories.

I know River is a common guess, her knowing his name in the Library from years ago ties in perfectly with next week's episode of course - but how could it be her? Her body died without a hint of regeneration and her mind should still be in the computer's VR.

Loved this episode, minus the pre-teen girl acting like a little brat.

Haven't seen the episode yet (will this afternoon), but, as for it being River, didn't she use the last of her regenerative powers restoring the Doctor in the Killing Hitler episode?

Proof: River is smart and funny, Clara is a dick.

Think about guys, Clara could be River much as The Master survived beyond his final regeneration as well as let's not forget, River was not a Time Lord but a human who could regenerate.

Again, this is spit-balling on my part.

And way to go Neito... you spoiler! :P

I liked the bit where he was hitting on Clara and she smacked him, saying that that was most definitely not the Doctor. Meanwhile neither blinked when the boy called him "Clara's Boyfriend" as he left the TARDIS. And then the Doctor seems to be getting a little lost in her... His description of her and why he's not attracted to her... interesting. Amazed he was allowed to live with that.

So has anyone been weak enough to read the spoilers?

BBC America shipped the Blu Ray a week early so a bunch of people who pre-ordered have already seen (and spoiled) the season finale. Hopefully it leaks online before I give in and read.
