I really dug the superspeed they used early on (and curious as to why it ended there). The new look of the Cybermen was okay but they looked too foamy instead of metal-y. Still a good fright in places. The effects used for the inside the mind to mind stuff was nice.
The Cybermites were fun (I want one to go with my Cybermat) but what was the point of them crawling over the Blackberry when the Tardis just made the girl a new phone?
No new real insights into the Clara mystery but if next week's the prologue is any indicator - we'll get our answers.
Trenzalore, here we come!
(And with a visit to Tranzalore also comes the "fall of the eleventh" when that which must not be answered - is answered. Silence WILL fall (and all that jazz)).
I suspect the look is due to the costumes being foam rubber instead of fiberglass. I like them.
The speed thing was dumb. Glad it was dropped but the constant "Upgrading" was annoying.
The Cybermites were amazing.
I think there was, or at least if you include the short - She Said, He Said - The Name of the Doctor Prequel.
Add that with the promo for next week and.... I have this crazy idea that she is perhaps A- River Song regenerated and somehow surviving beyond or B- She's River and the Doctor's daughter.
Nice episode, but still not as good as Tomb of the Cybermen or Earthshock.
