Hopefully DC see the outpourings of joy across the internet and decide not to relaunch in September.

Why not just do occasional Legion stories in lieu of an ongoing series? It would probably sell better that way, not to mention have more realistic expectations on DC's part.
It seems like people appreciate the concept appearing in Superman but don't always care for the continued execution

It should have been a no-brainer to have de-aged the team after flashpoint to where the old-guard members were in the late teens to early 20's again. It could've been done without messing with continuity too much.

That and blending in the other continuities and characters with it. Made it accessible to all fans and make all prior stuff enjoyable for new readers.

The Legion has potential. You just need a good creative team.

That's how we got in the mess we're in now. Johns wanted to use the "classic" team in Action so they could interact with Superman , which led to the Threeboot getting shoved, and the team eventually getting stuck in Adventure.

Then Johns left, The War with the Kryponians happened, and the Legion hasn't interacted with Superman since.

Tells you how screwed up DC is, doesn't it?

Trouble is that "blending" stuff in could make it an even bigger mess. See: Wildstorm characters in the Nu52.

I'd love to see XS and Laurel Gand back, but not haphazardly done.

Yes. Him or anybody that has a good enough ability to get a grip on SF concepts, and translate them into comics.

I will, too -- DC, as we all know, totally screwed up what was a great thing.

Having a property where the characters could grow old, retire, be killed and not resurrected...that should have been money in the bank. Talented creators should've been falling all over themselves to get a piece of that property.

Instead, we get the Five-Year Gap, the SW6 Batch, Eat It Grandpa, and no fewer than five relaunches, two of which took place in the last 36 months.

I'm...I'm tired. I'm tired of fighting. DC can do what it wants with the Legion, because it's clear they have no idea WHAT to do with it.
