Thing is, in regards to page 6, he did NOT encounter deceased Legionnaires in the past. Not interesting at all.

I don't know that much about pre-reboot Invisible Kid II. Maybe it was a reference to this ? :smt102

Also kind of reminded me about Lyle when he could see ghost girl Myla when he turned invisible.

No other scenes with Invisible kid or Polar Boy than what's above. The majority of this issue is set on the Sorcerers World, giving the Black Witch and Blok plenty of "screen time" as they begin to pull the pieces together of what is happening across the universe and slug it out with Validus. Working together Mysa and Glorith manage to

pull a last minute victory. That action also sends Cham and Ultra Boy back to Legion HQ on Earth to face a last page double cliff-hanger.

And you wonder why I do my darnedest to dissociate this clusterflock from the actual classic Legion.

Heck, Levitz wrote the story for LSH #298, and he can't get his crap straight.

The one I spoke of?

Keeping in mind that it's been around 20 years since I last re-read it.

Over a period of time, Jacques learns that he not only turns invisible in more ways then one, but also like Lyle, he opens portals into another dimension. Basically, he was periodically opening them since he had very little control to his powers.. partly due to his emotional state also affecting their control. Because of all this, he had been feeling as a failure as a hero and the legacy of Lyle Norg. In the issue he and Wildfire both fully entered this other dimension. There, sans containment suit, Wildfire became human and Jacques encountered what he thought was Lyle. Turns out, it was really a demon/alien thing that was telepathically tapping into Jacques head and playing off of him to gain access to reality. It was also playing with Wildfire's mind too. End result, Jacques figures out what was happening and calls the demon/alien thing out, beats it and drags Wildfire back to reality. It's suggested that the ghost girl that Lyle had met prior to his death was this same demon/alien thing.
